Lucia holm is a freelance photographer, who specializes in photo manipulation and digital retouching. She has received her Bachelor of fine arts degree from Rhode island school of design in 2004, and her masters of fine arts degree from New York Academy of Art in 2006.

Lucia holm is very talented with using post production and photo manipulation. I want to take self portraits and improve them with digital retouching. I plan to carry on taking self portraits however I want to enhance them in post production. To enhance the feeling towards the Photograph.  The way she uses different lighting to change the mood of the photograph. I will use the lighting and different positioning as well as post production in photoshop to change the mood.

I researched some different ideas of self portraits. Some of them are very creative and silly and others are serious. I will take different ideas and use them as inspiration.

PHOTOGRAPHER LUCIA HOLM

Eclectic, innovative and creative are three words to describe up and coming photographer Lucia Holms. Her work is innovative, intriguing and simply, well, she rocks! If you have had the privilege of checking out her work at her myspace or flicker account, you will see that this young talent is full throttle in the talent gauge. Born in New Jersey, this beach girl grew up from Italian, Swedish, German and Irish descent. She started out in fine arts at the esteemed Rhode Island school of Design (RISD) for her undergraduate work and then went on to the New york Academy of Art in Tribeca Ny, where she got her Masters in 2006.

She realized she had a strong interest in photography as a hobby and her interest grew more and more. Lucia realized she could apply her classical art training to photography as well.

She currently shoots with a Canon Digital Rebel XTI, and 30D with various lenses. Her passion in life is art, she still loves to draw and paint, photography, music, and definitely culture and fashion from past decades such as the 20’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.

"Love U More" is a song by British techno group Sunscreem, released as a single in July 1992 by Sony Soho Square. It was written by band members Paul Carnell and lead singer Lucia Holm.[1] The single is a track off the group's 1993 album O3 and was one of the first techno songs to make the American top 40, where it peaked at No. 36.[2] "Love U More" reached No. 23 in the United Kingdom in July 1992 and went to number one on the American dance chart for two weeks in March 1993, making it their first of three number-one hits there.[3]

Critical reception

Steven McDonald of AllMusic named the song one of the highlights of the O3 album.[4]Larry Flick from Billboard wrote, "Quintet has been on the lips of club folks in-the-know for nearly a year now via a pair of invigorating import singles. This cut has already stormed to the top of dance charts worldwide, and is poised for similar success here." He also complimented "the considerable (and unusual) vocal charm" of lead singer Lucia Ho
