Farrah Gray achieved "entrepreneurial icon" status by age 21, according to Ebony magazine. But then, he started young. At age six Farrah Gray determined that he needed to help his single mother support him and his four older siblings. He collected rocks from around his neighborhood in Chicago's housing projects, painted them, and sold them door-to-door as bookends, doorstops, and paperweights. He had soon earned enough to take his mother and grandmother to dinner. Donning a bathrobe as his suit coat, his brother's clip-on tie, and stuffing his red lunchbox/briefcase with business cards announcing himself as the "21st Century CEO," Gray set out to make his fortune.
