Esther Pearl Watson is a contemporary artist based in Los Angeles, and represented locally and internationally. Watson received her MFA from California Institute of the Arts and currently teaches at Pasadena Art Center College of Design. Born in Germany in 1979 but raised in a series of small towns outside of Dallas, Texas, Watson's family frequently moved, due in part to her father's work building flying saucers from scrap metal in their yard.
