Chapman Stick player Andy Salvanos built a global audience through busking and selling CDs on the streets of Australia. In recent years, he has enjoyed a growing listener base online, resulting in more than 10 million streams on Spotify and other music platforms. Swedish-born Salvanos has been a regular performer at events such as Adelaide Guitar Festival, The National Folk Festival, and worked as a bassist with Archie Roach on “The Tracker” soundtrack. His instrumental music, which falls somewhere in between “neo-classical” and “new age” genres, occupies its own lush, harmonic space, with captivating melodies occasionally drifting into soundscapes. It also makes for ideal background music in many settings, from dining experiences to exhibitions, markets, yoga retreats, or any event where percussion and vocals might be overpowering. Many of Andy’s listeners have asked him to perform at their weddings and other milestone events, and he has provided hundreds of corporate and private clients with both live and recorded music during the last 15 year
