Yeoh is one spelling of the Hokkien pronunciation (Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Iûⁿ; IPA: /iũ²⁴/) of the Chinese surname spelled in Mandarin Chinese Pinyin as Yáng (traditional Chinese: 楊; simplified Chinese: 杨; see that article for the history of the surname). Did you know Malaysia has been part of the Olympic Games since 1956?
While athletes from the Federation of Malaya participated in the 1956 and 1960 Olympics, our nation competed under the name "Malaysia" for the first time in 1964. In the case of Olympic diving, it has only been a little over 20 years since Malaysian athletes took part in the diving sport.
You could say that our country is still young in the history of diving!

Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaHeight 1.70 m (5 ft 7 in) Country Malaysia Yeoh Ken Nee (simplified Chinese: 杨健立; traditional Chinese: 楊健立; pinyin: Yáng Jiànlì; Jyutping: Joeng4 Gin6 Laap6; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Iôⁿ Kiān-li̍p; born 30 April 1983[1]) is a Malaysian diver.[2]
As a 15-year-old he competed in Diving at the 1998 Commonwealth Games. He competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.[3] In 2009, he competed in the 2009 World Aquatics Championships in the Men's 3 m synchro springboard and Men's 3 m springboard, finishing in 11th and 29th position respectively.
In June 2010, he competed in the 2010 FINA Diving World Cup in Changzhou, Jiangsu, People's Republic of China. His diving team even won a silver medal in the 2010 Asian Games at Guangzhou, China.
