Isabelle Marcoux is an Assistant Professor in the Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa, and is cross-appointed with the School of Psychology. As a researcher, she is also affiliated with the Centre for Research and Intervention on Suicide and Euthanasia at the University of Québec at Montréal, and with the Centre for Research Charles-Le Moyne Hospital (University of Sherbrooke). Dr. Marcoux obtained her doctorate in community psychology from the University of Québec at Montréal, then followed this with postdoctoral training in the Netherlands (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) and France (University of Nantes). Isabelle Marcoux has served as Chair of the Board of Transcontinental Inc. since 2012 and was appointed Executive Chair of the Board in June 2023. Previously, she was Vice Chair of the Board since 2007, Vice President, Corporate Development of the Corporation since 2004 and, between 1997 and 2004, held various positions within the Corporation.
