Every Winner in Miss Universe History From the Past 70 YearsÂ
The 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held in Mexico City on Nov. 16, when current Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua will crown her successor.
Former Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo will host the competition with Mario Lopez. The 73nd Miss Universe will be streamed at 7:30 p.m. ET in English on The Roku Channel and in Spanish by Telemundo.
The preliminaries will be broadcast on Nov. 14 on the Miss Universe YouTube Channel, exclusive to VIP-level members, and on Telemundo in the U.S. The preliminary competition is set for approximately 8 p.m. EST.
Established in 1952, the Miss Universe pageant was created to promote Catalina Swimwear, which used to be called Pacific Knitting Mills. In 1951, the winner of Miss America Yolanda Betbeze refused to model a bathing suit for Catalina Swimwear, so the company decided to start its own pageant.

Mrs. Winner's Chicken and Biscuits is a regional fast food restaurant in the U.S. Southeast which specializes in fried chicken.[2] Mrs. Winner's is mostly known for their fried chicken and given away biscuits.
History
Mrs. Winner's was founded in 1970 by Jack C. Massey.[3] Massey's operating company, Volunteer Capital, bought the Granny's of Atlanta chain of 21 restaurants from L.S. Hartzog and renamed them Mrs. Winner's Chicken & Biscuits. In 1982, Volunteer Capital was renamed Winners Corp. and by December there were 64 restaurants under the Mrs. Winner's umbrella.[4] In 1984 the chain boasted a total of 184 stores but by 1989 after four years of losses, the company decided to sell the franchise [5] to RTM Inc., Arby's largest franchisee, for about $30 million.
In 2006, Famous Recipe Company Operations, Inc., owner of the Lee's Famous Recipe franchise, acquired Mrs. Winners. As of August 2007, there were 113 locations in North Carolina, Tennessee,

International beauty pageant
Mrs. World is the first beauty pageant for married women, conceived in 1984. The concept of the pageant itself has its roots in Mrs. America.[1] From 1984 to 1987, the pageant was known as Mrs. Woman of the World and was changed to Mrs. World in 1988. The contest is the biggest marital pageant in the world.[2]
The reigning Mrs. World is Tshego Gaelae, the contestant from South Africa, who was crowned in the pageant held in January 2025 in Las Vegas, United States.
